Orchid nurseries, orchid societies and internet resellers often take advantage of our wholesale pricing. You do not have to possess a resale license to receive this discount. However, if the plants are picked up at our nursery or shipped within Illinois, and you want to avoid being charged sales tax, you must possess such a certificate and present it to us, or have it on file, prior to the transaction. Otherwise, the law requires us to charge you sales tax.

Special "Wholesale" Packages

Seedlings - Assorted species and hybrid seedlings are available at $2.50 each in 2¼-2½" pot sizes in wholesale quantities of 25 or more. These may take as little as one year to bloom, or may require 2-5 years to bloom depending on the variety. Oak Hill's choice; although we will try to honor reasonable parameters (growing conditions, etc.)

Budded Packages - Orchid show vendors, plant shops, garden centers, and orchid societies may be interested in orchid plants in bud, which can be supplied in assorted varietiesyear round in the general price range of $9.00 to $19.00 each, depending on variety and size of plants.

Special Wholesale Listing

If you are a reseller of orchids (or a member of a society which wishes to make a "group purchase") and can purchase five (5) or more of a particular variety, you will want to check out our Special Wholesale Listing , which we revise extensively in the fall and update thoughout the year. “Budded Plant” Packages/ Orchid Society Event Packages

Orchid nurseries, plant shops, garden centers, and orchid societies (for auctions or other events) may be interested in orchid plants in bud. A representative list of some currently available spiked and budded varieties is maintained on the homepage of our website at www.oakhillgardens.com . If specific varieties are chosen from this list, then they must be purchased at retail price (unless five or more of the same variety are ordered, in which case the 25% wholesale discount would apply). However, if Oak Hill is allowed to choose the budded varieties from our stock, they can be supplied at a 25% discount from our already reasonable retail prices with a minimum purchase of $200.00. We can supply a varied assortment of orchids in spike/bud in the general price range of $9.00 to $19.00 each (after discount.) Prices depend on the variety and size of plants. We are open to customizing your selection based on your needs. Please do not hesitate to phone us to discuss such an order in advance. If you wish to have a package of plants that is not necessarily in bud, please call to discuss and we can arrange discounts based on your level of flexibility in letting Oak Hill Gardens choose the plants.
